The Exit 16 DDI Project has Completed the First Phase of Construction!

VTrans wants to hear from you!

The Vermont Agency of Transportation (VTrans) announces the completion of the first phase of construction for the Exit 16 DDI Project. The first phase of construction focused on the removal of ledge, relocation of utilities, installation of drainage infrastructure, and construction of retaining walls. The first construction season required around-the-clock construction as crews restricted blasting activities to daytime hours and significant traffic impacts to nighttime hours. The second phase of construction will focus on the bulk of the roadway work, including the construction of the new interchange.

VTrans is seeking your feedback on construction impacts and project outreach to help us facilitate better communication and satisfaction throughout the remainder of construction.
